Aeronord Aerostati manufactures gas balloons, inflatables and associated products for trade fairs, advertising, scientific research and sports events. The company has innovated continuously since 1960, and Claudia Cisaro manages communications and new business development while overseeing intellectual property protection.

Recently, Cisaro selected Bernstein as a tool for securing Aeronord's IP assets. We discussed specific implementation:

How is Bernstein helping Aeronord?

The company registered a co-developed device with a sanitization specialist—an inflatable arch dispersing antibacterial aerosol to prevent COVID-19 transmission. Cisaro noted: "In all collaboration projects it is important to make sure each partner is able to register independent contributions and set them apart from co-results and follow-up developments."

Have you ever been involved in IP litigation?

Cisaro disclosed prior challenges: "Once we partnered with a Chinese company for manufacturing a product, then this company used our IP and know-how to launch its own product." She emphasized that Bernstein certifications could strengthen contractual frameworks by documenting shared knowledge in NDAs and partnership agreements.

What is next?

Aeronord plans to register innovations from earliest stages. Cisaro explained the strategic advantage: "The versioning system included in Bernstein will give us a chain of certifications that indisputably proves that all knowledge in the project was originated inside Aeronord." This approach prevents competitors from copying products with minor modifications while protecting development freedom.

Thanks Claudia!
